Toy Care
Taking care of silicone toys is easy! For all of our toys, please use water based toy safe lube only. Silicone based lube will permanently damage the toy.
Stokers will require an extra step to care for them after cleaning. Your stroker will be delivered with a light coating of rice starch. This is because the silicone used has a slightly tacky feel, even after it's fully cured. For the best experience, please be sure to reapply a liberal dusting of food starch like corn or rice starch. We do not recommend using talc or baby powder, or any other powder that has a fragrance.
Make sure to thoroughly wash your toys before use, as well as after use using warm water and a mild detergent. Moisturizing and scented soaps may leave detectable film after washing so we do recommend a dedicated toy cleaning soap, but unscented non moisturizing hand soap or light dish soap is fine. It is not necessary to boil or bleach your toys for personal use, but if you do choose to boil a toy please be aware that it can permanently increase the firmness of your toy, though that increase is marginal.
Please store your toys in a clean and dry location. While platinum silicone is nonporous and quite resilient, it is possible for mold to develop on the surface if it is not kept dry. In this event the toy cannot be saved and can no longer be safely used.
Over time with use, it is normal for the finish to become more matte. This is caused by friction. It is cumulative and not reversable, however there are no safety issues presented by this, it is purely cosmetic.
