Safety and materials

What materials are used?

Lust Demonics uses only platinum cure silicone from Smooth-On, laboratory tested to be skin safe. This material is nonporous, nonreactive and can be safely sanitized. Our mica powder colors are cosmetic grade, safe for mouth and eyes, and our flat liquid pigments are as well approved for skin safety. We never use large or chunky craft glitters in any toy. 

 

Safety and procedure

Silicone parts A and B are thoroughly mixed to ensure proper blending. Pigments are added after, and again thoroughly mixed to minimize cosmetic freckling and ensure total encapsulation of the mica particles and distribution of liquid pigments. Once mixing is complete, the silicone is then placed under vacuum until all air is removed, ensuring that there are no bubbles and that the toy is safe. In some instances, a bubble may form at the bottom of the base away from the usable sections and does not pose a safety concern. 

Silicone Firmness

Dildos are available in the three firmest options, grinders are available in four firmnesses, and strokers are available in the two least firm options.

Generally speaking larger or thicker toys will have less give at any firmness. As an example, a rubber band will flex extremely easily but a dildo made from the same firmness will feel quite hard with almost no give. Textures will be more pronounced in higher firmnesses. 

Ultra Soft - A mix of Ecoflex 00-20 and 00-10. This is available only for strokers. It is extremely soft, with a lot of give and stretch. This is pretty close to a gummy bear's softness. Strokers made in this firmness will require a little bit of extra care as the softness makes it more prone to tearing. 

Super Soft - Ecoflex 00-20. Available only for grinders and strokers. This is quite soft with decent amount of stretch. Something like a slightly stale gummy bear. 

Soft - Ecoflex 00-30. This material has a decent amount of give, some toys will bend without support and it may be difficult to use this firmness anally, but it is possible. It is about as soft as a gel shoe insert.

Medium - Ecoflex 00-50. Medium firmness requires a bit more force to squish. These toys will be more likely to stand on their own, and will be suitable however you want to use it. This is usually a good default option. 

Firm - Dragon Skin 10. This requires much more force to be able to squish. Toys in this firmness will still easily bend and flex, but they won't flop around under their own weight like soft toys will.
